Figure:16 Normalized peak velocities for uniform moment case with 250 m grid spacing ($f_m\sim $1.5 Hz). The fault is 50 km long and extends from the surface down to 15 km depth. The hypocenter is in the center of the fault at 10 km depth. The peak velocities are normalized by dividing each component by the maximum value for each component from the 400 m grid model (Figure 5).
