This work was carried out in collaboration with Maurizio Bonafede and Maria Elina Belardinelli, who use analytical methods and has focussed on the well-defined faults in the Holocene part of the SISZ. A manuscript, entitled: Secondary earthquake fractures generated by a strike-slip fault in the SISZ [], has been submitted to JGR.
