Suggestions regarding radomes
- Calibrate the antennas with the radome on
This has been done by NGS
for several antenna types (including Ashtech antennas with Ashtech & USCG radomes).
It would be interesting to see if the hemispherical radomes affect the
PCV pattern. It has also been suggested
(e.g. SCIGN) that
the problem is latitude dependent (different distribution of satellite views) or
even software dependent.
