Notes
Now if we zoom in on the south-western part we see that near the plate
boundary, which lies east-west, the velocities decrease as we move
closer into the plate boundary deformation zone. ...As expected...
This station (KIDJ) also deviates from the expected plate motion.
It is located only 5 kilometers from the fault of the June 21st,
magnitude 6.6 earthquake and was installed half a year after
the earthquake sequence. The northward movement might be
showing a post-seismic effect.
What can we get more from the timeseries? In order to study that
the velocities already obtained can be subtracted from the timeseries
to look for secondary effects.
